Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 200 ranked national law firm seeking a 3rd to 5th year Complex Litigation and Class Actions Associate to join its Seattle, Washington office. This role supports a sophisticated complex litigation practice with a focus on defending consumer class actions, including matters involving consumer products, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, technology, and financial products. The Opportunity You will work on high stakes class action defense matters, drafting and arguing key motions, managing discovery and electronic discovery workflows, and partnering closely with senior lawyers on case strategy, expert development, and client communications. Ideal Candidate Profile The firm is seeking a 3rd to 5th year Complex Litigation and Class Actions Associate with: 3 to 5 years of consumer class action defense experience, including false advertising, product defect, breach of warranty, and consumer protection claims Experience handling matters involving California Unfair Competition Law Active bar membership in California, New York, or Washington Strong motion practice experience, including class certification and or summary judgment briefing Hands on experience managing discovery, including electronic discovery and case management responsibilities Why This Opportunity Stands Out This is a strong Seattle based opportunity for an associate who wants meaningful responsibility on complex, high value class action defense matters, with close partner access and a team environment that supports skill development across briefing, discovery strategy, and deposition and hearing readiness.
