Role: Compliance Officer
Location: Tallahassee, FL 32399
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Professional office, business casual, cubicle

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Contact constituents/complainants to discuss the details of the complaints that are filed.
  • Read state statute and compare it with complaints to analyze the issue.
  • Communicating with the public, so good customer service skills are a MUST.
  • Advise complainant of the Division's jurisdiction and that the case is being closed and for what reason.
  • Provide any resources or referrals, as appropriate.
  • Send a written correspondence to the complainant once approved by the supervisor.
  • Close the case out by adding the appropriate codes/activities/statues in Versa.
  • Document the actions in the OnBase system.


REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Communicate appropriately, both verbally and in writing.
  • Read and interpret Florida statutes
  • Previous experience working with the public in a professional environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Commit to the project time line
