Overview:

Our client is seeking a Component Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will support component selection and design change decisions by conducting detailed analysis and evaluations. The position focuses on ensuring the integrity and functionality of electrical and electro-mechanical components, contributing to the development of reliable systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-oriented professional with a strong technical background in engineering and a passion for innovation.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics.

Experience Level:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the electrical or electro-mechanical industry.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the theory of operation of electrical and electronic circuits.
  • Experience evaluating components for form, fit, and function.
  • Familiarity with entering components into engineering databases and ERP systems.
  • Ability to prepare and document ECO (Engineering Change Order) release packages.
  • Proficiency in conducting and documenting tests on electronic components and subsystems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Firsthand experience with electrical and electro-mechanical components.
  • Strong report writing, presentation, and customer-interaction abilities.
  • Experience in the electro-mechanical industry is highly desirable.

Attributes:

  • Self-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Effective communicator, both orally and in writing, within engineering and operations teams.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
