Overview MANTECH seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Computer Network Operations (CNO) Vulnerability Researcher to join our team in Fort Meade, MD. Responsibilities Assist in researching and discovering software vulnerabilities. Support reverse engineering software for security mechanism bypasses. Assist in designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging of userland and kernel software and systems. Research and maintain proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, static and dynamic program analysis, network security, and encryption. Take direction from more senior personnel and provide status updates that allow those personnel to present to leadership and customers. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 8+ years of experience OR Associate’s degree and 6+ years of experience OR Master’s Degree and 2+ years, OR a PhD with 0 years of progressively responsible experience. Working knowledge of vulnerability research. Some hands-on experience in reverse engineering and common research tools (e.g., IdaPro, Ghidra, Radare, Binary Ninja, SysInternals, GDB, WinDBG, etc.). Proficiency in Python, C/C++ or Assembly (x86/x64) programming. Proficiency in low-level internals in one or more technology areas (e.g., Windows, Linux, Mobile). Troubleshooting / debugging experience. Preferred Qualifications Degree in IT-related discipline. 2 years of position-specific relevant experience. CNO Capability development experience. Clearance Requirements No clearance required. Must be a U.S. citizen. Physical Requirements Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery. Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
