We are seeking experienced and motivated individuals to join our team as Config Center Technicians. As part of our IT team, you will oversee hardware and software configurations, device replacements, and collaborate with other IT professionals to execute small to large scale hardware deployment projects. Work will also include troubleshooting physical hardware and coordinating repair activities, receiving of computer hardware, and shipping devices to facilities across the United States. Our ideal candidate will have experience with computer building/configuration, troubleshooting, software installation, and a working understanding of asset management.
Job Duties:
Experience in a fast-paced high request volume environment is critical. Ability to multi-task and have prior experience with common request management ticketing systems. Duties will include:
-Imaging/reimaging, setting up workstations/laptops, barcoding, and asset management
-Project tracking, customer interactions (written & verbal), and ServiceNow updates
-Troubleshooting and break/fix for laptops/desktops and coordinate hardware warranty repair
-Shipping and receiving of hardware
Required job Skills:
1. Experience in troubleshooting computer hardware and break/fix
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows, ServiceNow or comparable ticket management system
3. Experience with computer builds/configuration
4. Shipping and receiving of packages through UPS
5. Dell and HP certified or willing to get certified within 30 days after start date
6. Strong customer service and interactions via written and verbal communication
7. Ability to lift up to 50lbs
