Aurum Construction is expanding across the Midwest, and we’re looking for a Concrete Assistant Project Manager to help lead our growing portfolio of work in the greater Des Moines area. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving big challenges, and love taking concrete projects from concept to completion, this role is right up your alley.

We’re looking for someone who knows their way around structural concrete, flatwork, tilt-wall, foundations, or self-perform operations — and who can lead both in the field and in the office. If you’re the person people call when something needs to get done (and done well), we want to meet you.

🔨 What You’ll Do

• Support concrete projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Manage schedules, budgets, subcontracts, procurement, and field coordination
• Oversee self-perform crews or concrete subcontractors
• Partner closely with clients, design teams, and internal project teams
• Track progress, run project meetings, and proactively solve problems
• Champion safety and quality across every phase of the job
• Build long-term relationships through exceptional project delivery

🧰 What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years working on concrete or self-perform construction projects
• Knowledge of layout, formwork, rebar, flatwork, and structural systems
• Tilt-wall, commercial, or industrial concrete experience is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and shop drawings
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• A collaborative team player who values accountability and craftsmanship
