Estimator – Bay Area (Concrete Contractor) 150-200k!

Must have concrete estimating experience.

Overview

Seeking an Estimator to join their Bay Area team. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile commercial, infrastructure, and mixed-use projects with one of the most respected self-performing concrete groups in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and proposals for structural and architectural concrete scopes.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with preconstruction, operations, and field teams to ensure accuracy in scope and pricing.
• Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Lead bid strategy discussions and participate in pre-bid meetings and site walks.
• Support the transition from estimating to project execution, ensuring continuity between preconstruction and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5–10 years of estimating experience within concrete or self-performing trades.
• Strong proficiency with estimating software (e.g., OST, Bluebeam, Excel).
• Ability to manage multiple bids with tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and detail.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
