Construction Contracts Specialist Apply

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review, revise and negotiate various contracts with owners and vendors.
- Organize contract files including but not limited to review copies, internal discussion notes, negotiation correspondence and final execution contract documents.
- Conduct contract reviews and provide mark-ups and recommendations regarding important legal and risk management issues for negotiation.
- Develop contract proposals to support organizational goals.
- Ensure that all records are accurate and up to date.
- Write contract letters and other communications and notices.
- Participate in meetings with project teams and executives to review and assess various contractual risks
- Analyze contracts to ensure they comply with state and federal laws and regulations.
- Work collaboratively with various stakeholders including project managers, risk management professionals and senior executives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years' experience in construction contract administration and management
- Legal experience and/or knowledge of contract law a plus
- Knowledge of construction operations and management a plus
- Strong negotiation and mediation skills.
- Superior attention to detail in order to spot inconsistencies in contracts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work productively independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- General understanding of accounting principles and finance.
