Construction Laborer BETTIS ASPHALT & CONSTRUCTION, INC. 1800 NW BRICKYARD ROAD TOPEKA, KS 66618 Worksite: 1364 East College Drive Colby, KS 67701 CONSTRUCTION LABORER (6) Temporary Full Time Position 4/1/26-12/15/26 Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers. Daily travel to various job sites located in Thomas, Sheridan, Graham, Rawlins, Cheyenne, Decatur, Sherman, Wallace, Logan, Gove, Trego, Norton, Greeley, Wichita, Scott, Lane and Ness counties in Kansas. Qualifications: Able to lift and carry 50 pounds. Some OT and weekends required. Schedule & Compensation 8 hour workday. Hours may vary between 7 am and 7 pm. Hourly wage: $20.49 per hour. OT: $30.74 per hour. Biweekly check. Workers responsible for transportation to the designated pick up location in Colby, KS. Transportation to and from worksites will be provided from Colby, KS. 40hr/wk. Mon-Fri, 7am-7:00pm. Must be eligible within the USA and available entire work period. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse worker for transportation & subsistence (including meals, lodging as necessary) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment. Upon completion of work contract or earlier dismissal, the employer will pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
