Position Overview The Construction Management Intern will support project managers and site supervisors across active construction projects. This internship is designed to provide real‑world exposure to project coordination, field operations, safety, and quality control in a fast‑paced construction environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily project management activities, including scheduling, procurement, and coordination Support site supervisors and project managers in tracking project progress Participate in site inspections and quality control activities Assist with preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety protocols and procedures are followed Build working relationships with internal teams, trade partners, vendors, and clients Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Construction Management or a related field Strong interest in construction and eagerness to learn Basic understanding of construction processes, tools, and equipmentProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Ability to work outdoors and on active construction sites Detail‑oriented, dependable, and proactive Location & Schedule McPherson, KS (travel to project sites as needed) Full‑time, 40+ hours per week Internship runs late May through mid‑August What We Offer Hands‑on experience on active construction projects Direct mentorship from experienced construction professionals Exposure to multiple facets of construction management Professional networking and career development opportunities Equal Opportunity Employer McPherson Concrete Companies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
