Genesis10 is currently seeking a Construction Manager II / III for an onsite position with a Major Utility Company located in Holmdel, NJ. Pay range: $45.00-60.00 per Hour This role involves leading a major renovation project, requiring strong field oversight, contractor coordination, and a proven commitment to safety. The selected candidate will be responsible for daily engagement with project stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success. Responsibilities Ensure all personnel on site follow established safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment Conduct regular site audits, including safety, plans, and specifications compliance Enforce environmental compliance across the job site Participate in daily job briefs with the general contractor Verify that general contractors build and install according to approved designs Monitor day to day construction progress and address delays, emergencies, or issues that arise Coordinate activities and resource levels across general contractors and subcontractors Review and analyze construction schedules, monitor critical path activities, and identify potential delays Prepare daily and weekly progress reports Capture and document major construction milestones with photos and written summaries Develop, review, and maintain project documentation, including programming documents, scopes, specifications, project plans, contracts, bid packages, BOMs, and requisitions Lead and document weekly construction meetings Prepare status reports covering scope, budget, schedule, risks, and mitigation strategies Identify quality requirements and oversee the project's quality assurance program Review and approve contractor provided procedures when required Review Method of Procedures (MOPs), submittals, RFIs, and pay applications Interpret and explain design, engineering, or construction documents Act as a liaison between our client, contractors, the design team, and building management Engage internal and external project stakeholders including architects, engineers, IT, security, general contractors, and specialty trades Ensure project close out activities, punch lists, and lessons learned reviews are completed Support commissioning efforts and track scope gaps as needed Assist with value engineering evaluations and recommendations Support additional project management duties as assigned Work outside regular business hours as required Requirements Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical) Minimum 4 years of experience in engineering, finance, construction, project controls, or project organization Experience reading, interpreting, and understanding architectural, mechanical, electrical, or structural drawings Strong project management capability with the ability to manage and control multiple tasks Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills Strong team orientation and ability to work cross functionally Positive attitude and proactive approach Desired skills PMP certification Experience with MS Project, scheduling, or resource planning tools AutoCAD experience Detailed project controls experience Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
