Construction ManagerAudubon is currently seeking a Construction Manager to be part of a project team working onsite at a client's plant in Waggaman, LA. The Construction Manager will assist the Project Manager, serving as the day to day jobsite representative, helping with onsite projects.Must be able to work weekends.May be asked to oversee additional construction projects as needed.Key Areas of Responsibility will include:Providing daily reports to PM and engineers.Coordinating between the plant, contractors, inspectors, testing agencies, PM, and project engineers.Acting as the day to day liaison between the client and contractors.Maintaining safety and quality control and review contractor JSAs.Maintaining organization of the project job site.Coordinating security access.Monitoring construction quality and perform field verifications against project documents. Capable of identifying potential deficiencies, clashes, errors, time delays and changes.Attending job site meetings with all Contractors and client management.Reviewing equipment, install manuals, and ensure proper install.Other duties as assigned.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the position:Construction related degree (BA/BSc) or strong construction management experience.Thorough knowledge of construction practices and methods, specifically piles, concrete, structural steel, siding, roofing, bulk handling equipment, and power and controls.Ability to understand technical engineering drawings, specifications and statements of work covering complex and diverse engineering designs.Ability to effectively write and speak to report on progress, outcome of technical assignments and to communicate issues and recommendations.Ability to interface well with others.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledNo Recruiters Please!#L1-LL1
