Job Summary
We are looking to hire an Operations Manager to join our Construction Health & Safety Division in managing operational and administrative functions of occupational health clinics on construction sites in the Mountain, West, and Pacific regions. This is a full‑time position based remotely with home office duties and travel, with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed. Candidates must reside in Nevada, Utah, Arizona, or Colorado.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and support multiple onsite clinics, ensuring adherence to protocols and operational standards.
Manage client relationships with local and corporate stakeholders, building trust and promoting Medcor’s ethical values.
Lead, supervise, and develop clinic staff, including interviewing, training, performance appraisal, and wage administration.
Monitor clinic budgets, control expenses, maximize revenue, and report financial performance to leadership.
Coordinate with corporate offices for training, IT, staffing, accounting, and supply chain needs.
Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, occupational health regulations, and workers’ compensation requirements.
Conduct site visits and assessments, providing operational support and problem solving.
Document and track clinic performance metrics, ensuring financial targets and quality standards are met.
Promote continuous improvement and workflow redesign within clinic operations.
Collaborate with the operations management team on strategy and quality initiatives.
Qualifications
EMT, Paramedic, LPN/LVN, or RN license; medical background a requirement.
2–4 years of practical experience in a healthcare environment with management or supervisory responsibilities.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation, occupational health, and wellness programs.
Demonstrated ability to interpret budgets and financial statements.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage daily operations independently.
Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, with proximity to a metropolitan airport.
