We are currently staffing a Construction Operations Professional for a major Oil & Gas / Energy Renewables client in Brownsville, TX. Construction Operations Professional Job Location: Brownsville, TX Duration: 12 months (contract to possible perm conversion) Pay Rate Range: $45-$57/hr Job Summary As a member of the System Turnover team, this role collaborates closely with cross-functional project teams to ensure systems are completed in accordance with the established project schedule. The position focuses on evaluating system readiness, tracking constraints and open items, and identifying potential risks or obstacles to timely turnover. Team members are expected to develop a strong understanding of system and area scoping, work packaging, and construction drawings, while actively supporting a zero-incident and zero-rework culture. This role serves as a critical interface between multiple disciplines and requires strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities Track and manage open issues and action items affecting system completion and turnover. Coordinate and participate in system walkdowns. Reinforce schedule commitments and a sense of urgency with Construction, Field Engineering, and Pre-Commissioning teams. Review field-generated inspection records to ensure accuracy, quality, and completeness. Enter and manage inspection records within completions management systems for reporting and tracking. Utilize multiple databases and document control platforms (e.g., Teamworks, Setroute, Aconex) to review and verify turnover dossiers. Maintain and administer completions tracking databases. Prepare quality documentation and perform data and documentation audits. Support execution of records retention and system turnover plans. Manage installation work packages and test packages. Maintain and update the Teamworks database. Coordinate, track, and close open punch list items. Provide general administrative and clerical support as required. Demonstrate a proactive approach to continuous learning and professional development. Develop a working knowledge of work packaging, test packaging, and system/area scoping and drawings. Assist with operational training and knowledge transfer to team members as needed. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1–2 years of relevant experience, or 3–5 years of related industry or construction operations experience. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Prior experience on an LNG construction project, particularly along the U.S. Gulf Coast, is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with standard office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications. Familiarity with Smart Completions and Unifier systems is an advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
