Fall Fittings is seeking a Project Administrator. Working under the direction of the operations teams, this individual will be responsible for carious administrative functions of all construction projects. This is a full-time in-office position in our New Paltz, NY office.
TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate and coordinate with the construction team to facilitate construction activities.
- Assist Operations Teams in coordinating the activities of the project to ensure cost, schedule, and quality standards are met. Exercises independent judgement related to day-to-day administration of projects.
- Assist Operations Teams in communicating effectively with the Owner, attend meetings and complete contract documents
- Assist financial management of projects, preparing, processing and submitting prime Pay Applications, Change Orders, Time & Materials Ticket, Subcontract & Supplier invoices.
- Responsible for managing document control, logging and distribution of the following: Submittals, RFIs, Transmittals, Shop Drawings
- Preparing & Distribution production release files for use by operations team and production teams.
- Follow up and encourage all parties to meet deadlines of submittals and other deliverables.
QUALIFICAITONS:
- Complete understanding of all construction methods and procedures.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, Outlook), project management software (Procore or similar, Adobe.
- Ability to work independently
- Detailed oriented and capable of multi- tasking.
- Office Organization: Keep the office environment tidy and efficient, including managing office supplies and equipment.
- Strong listening and communication skills, including the ability to resolve conflict.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of dealing with clients, vendors, architects, etc, in a professional manner.
