Ballast Construction is seeking a qualified Construction Project Manager to add to our growing team. We are a rapidly growing company and are looking to build a team that will grow along with us.

We are a Coral Gables, FL based Commercial construction company specializing in Projects up to $15 million in revenue. We specialize in all types of commercial construction ranging from Healthcare, office, Industrial, and Multifamily.

Job Responsibilities

• Interpreting plans and specifications.
• Creating and maintaining Project Budgets.
• Works closely with architects and other professionals to execute projects.
• Schedules meetings with clients, site managers, and staff.
• Navigates and understands building codes.
• Perform Project Buyout.
• Maintains Project Document Control and travels to building sites as required.
• Works closely with Site superintendents to maintain and update Project Schedule.
• Stays up to date with safety codes and improvements in construction.

Work Hours and Benefits: This position is a full time position.

Construction Project Manager Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong math skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to interpret specifications and plans.
• Proficiency in Construction Contracts and Project Administration.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments at once.
• Knowledge of the latest building codes.
• Close attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Construction management or a related field is required.
• At least 5 years of related experience is required.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Products required.
• Experience using PROCORE Project Management software preferred.
