Construction Project Manager - General Construction - Base Salary to 135k/year - Emmaus, PA Our client, a well-established general contractor, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their team in Emmaus, PA. This position is responsible for managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, including project estimating, quantity takeoffs, bid preparation, scheduling, job costing, subcontract administration, change orders, and overall project financial performance. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial general construction, heavy concrete, civil construction, and pre‑engineered metal building (PEMB) projects. Responsibilities Review construction drawings, specifications, and project scope to develop accurate cost estimates. Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for commercial construction projects. Prepare estimates across multiple CSI divisions. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor, supplier, bonding, and insurance quotations. Analyze subcontractor proposals for completeness, pricing, and qualifications. Perform risk assessments and develop competitive project pricing. Prepare complete bid packages and ensure accurate, timely bid submissions. Coordinate scopes of work to produce complete project estimates. Visit project sites to gather field information and document existing conditions. Attend pre‑bid, pre‑construction, and project progress meetings. Develop and maintain project schedules. Manage project costs, productivity, and overall financial performance. Prepare, review, and administer change orders. Review quantities, estimates, invoices, and billing for accuracy. Prepare purchase orders and subcontract agreements. Coordinate project submittals, shop drawings, and required documentation. Review weekly job cost and productivity reports. Prepare project closeout documentation. Maintain historical job cost and productivity records. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 2+ years of experience in commercial general construction project management and estimating. Experience with heavy concrete and civil construction projects. Experience with pre‑engineered metal building (PEMB) estimating and project management. Experience performing quantity takeoffs and preparing construction estimates. Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Compensation Base salary in the 125k - 135k/year range. Benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr
