This position reports to, collaborates with, and follows the direction of the V.P. of Project Management and Superintendent.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform daily reports, monitor daily work activities for production and schedule tracking.Create and manage pertinent construction documentation such as submittals, RFI’s, change orders, notifications and correspondence.Strong ability to command daily/ weekly and monthly meetings.Strong written and verbal skills pertinent in developing and maintaining client, owner, subcontractor and vendor relationships.Obtain, evaluate, submit and track all submittals to owners/customers.Prepare monthly pay requests for Project Manager Supervisor approval to send to clients.Obtain material quotes from suppliers and submit purchase orders for approval.Accurately track, maintain, report counts of materials used, and on-hand required.Track invoices, receipts for field purchase orders and maintain field purchase order files.Review, understand plans, and drawings for civil projects.Assist in maintaining construction schedules in Microsoft Project.Assist and manage jobsite document control.Other duties as assigned.Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:2+ years of relevant experience as a Project Manager on civil construction projectsMicrosoft Project and CAD knowledge.Ability to work with a fast-paced team in an aggressive construction environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Strong capabilities to multitask work independently under pressure, and within tight deadlines.Background check and drug testing.Prior civil site project experience such as utilities, concrete, roadways, and mass excavation experience are a plusCommercial and residential Skills and Qualifications· Ability to respond consistently with a high degree of initiative to resolve issues or complex problems that may arise.· Ability to maintain a positive company image and brand.· Efficient organization and time-management skills.· A courteous and professional demeanor· Proficient with Excel and developing spreadsheets to manage various parts trackers, projects, etc., and other work-related software· Sage Intacct, HeavyBid & Microsoft Project knowledge is a PLUS· Ability to work independently and as part of a teamJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:· 401(k)· Health insurance including Medical/Dental/Vision· Life insurance· Paid time offSalary: $82,000 - $125,000.00 per year, Based on ExperienceSchedule:Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Leander, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
