Triton Construction Group, a leading commercial General Contractor with over 50 years of experience, is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER for convenience store, restaurant, and retail new construction. This position will work directly with a Senior Project Manager to ensure projects are competitively bid and meet the needs of the client and will provide support to Superintendents throughout the construction process as needed. Responsibilities include assisting the Senior Project Manager with customer interface, client development, subcontractor management, estimating, scheduling, procurement, construction oversight, safety oversight, cost and progress monitoring, management and reporting.

Applicants wishing to apply for this position must be willing and able to meet the following job requirements:

· Must be self-motivated and organized

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve superior results

· Assist in creating and managing project budget for all assigned projects

· Able to learn to negotiate and track change orders with both owners and subcontractors

· Assist with conducting project meetings, and setting milestones

· Must understand and be able to implement job processes (RFI’s, submittals, and pay applications)

· Develop and manage project scheduling while ensuring project quality

· Manage the project closeout process

· Must ensure high quality standards while meeting aggressive schedules

· Applicant must be a proactive communicator, with extensive scheduling skills, ability to interpret plans and specifications, represent the company during building/trade inspections, work with the retail operations team for each project, and objectively handle/settle disputes among the members of the project team

· Strong computer skills are essential. Basic computer skills, including Excel and Word are required, experience with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera Sure Trak and project management software such as Procore is a plus.
