This individual will serve as the primary safety leader on site, responsible for implementing safety programs, monitoring field activity, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while promoting a strong culture of safety across the project team.Construction Safety Manager – Mission Critical ProjectsLocation: Santa Teresa, New MexicoDuration: 6 months contract-to-hireHourly: $60-$65, W2Salary Conversion: $110,000 – $135,000 salaryResponsibilitiesLead the implementation of project safety programs and enforce site-specific safety plansConduct routine jobsite inspections and safety audits to identify and mitigate risksReview and approve Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs)Lead safety orientations for new workers, contractors, and site visitorsMonitor high-risk work activities including electrical work, heavy equipment operations, crane lifts, excavation, confined space entry, and fall protectionEnsure proper lockout/tagout procedures and other safety protocols are followedInvestigate incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actionsTrack safety metrics and maintain reporting for project leadershipMaintain safety documentation, logs, training records, and compliance documentationWork closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure safe project executionSupport internal safety audits and regulatory inspections as requiredQualifications5+ years of construction safety experienceExperience supporting large commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projectsStrong knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite compliance requirementsAbility to influence and enforce safety standards across multiple contractors and tradesComfortable working in active, fast-paced construction environmentsRequired CertificationsOSHA 30 requiredInnovar Group is comprised of senior talent agents who deliver top recruitment services to clients throughout the United States.
