Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Construction Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across diverse construction projects. In this vital role, you will champion a culture of safety excellence by developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive safety programs. Your expertise will ensure that all construction activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, fostering a secure environment for workers and stakeholders alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence safety practices on large-scale projects, promoting health, well-being, and operational efficiency from start to finish. Duties Develop and enforce robust safety policies aligned with OSHA standards and industry best practices to minimize risks on construction sites. Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards related to occupational health, risk management, and compliance management, ensuring swift corrective actions. Lead safety training sessions for construction teams, emphasizing OSHA regulations, workers' compensation procedures, and safe work practices. Oversee incident investigations related to construction site accidents or near-misses, documenting findings and recommending preventative measures. Collaborate with project managers and construction management teams to integrate EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) protocols into daily operations. Manage compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements and other relevant standards to ensure all electrical installations meet safety criteria. Utilize construction management software to track safety metrics, generate reports, and monitor ongoing safety performance across multiple sites. Skills Extensive knowledge of OSHA regulations, NEC standards, and occupational health principles. Proven experience in risk management within the construction industry, with the ability to identify hazards proactively. Strong understanding of workers' compensation procedures and injury prevention strategies. Excellent construction site experience combined with hands‑on familiarity with construction management processes. Skilled in compliance management, ensuring adherence to all local, state, and federal safety regulations. Proficiency in using construction management software for reporting, documentation, and safety tracking purposes. Exceptional communication skills to effectively train teams and collaborate with project stakeholders.
