Overview Commercial Drivers are responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, materials, or equipment using commercial vehicles. This role plays a critical part in daily operations by ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all transportation regulations. Key Responsibilities Route Planning & Transportation Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods according to assigned routes, schedules, and delivery requirements. Loading & Unloading Load, secure, and unload cargo while ensuring proper weight distribution and compliance with safety standards. Vehicle Operation & Inspection Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery paperwork, and electronic records as required by DOT regulations. Customer & Site Interaction Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and site personnel during deliveries and pickups. Safety & Regulatory Compliance Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and DOT regulations to maintain a safe driving record.
