About Us We are reinventing consumer credit - starting with the $1T credit card market. We massively reduce the cost of capital by using technology to easily tap into people's assets. Our first product is the world's lowest APR credit card - backed by home equity. Using many patented technologies, we sped up a process that usually takes 4-6 weeks and thousands of dollars down to as fast as 15 minutes and $0 to get. In the next decade, we believe we will reduce the cost of consumer credit in the world by a half. Our team includes people who have built: Financial products (Square/CashApp, the earliest CapitalOne credit cards) Consumer products (Internet.org, Xbox) Technology infrastructure (Visual Studio, Windows & Azure, helped design the C++ & C# languages) Mathematics & science infrastructure (computational research at NASA's JPL). We are missionaries that like to work hard on important problems - and build products that become an infrastructure for society. We believe that using technology to lower the cost of capital for consumers is one of these problems - and if we can do it, it could have an infinite impact on people's lives. Job Brief We are currently hiring a Consumer Go-To-Market (GTM) to join our team and be responsible for running the strategy around digital acquisition for the company. In order to thrive as the GTMgr, you must be creative, analytical, metrics-driven, and able to identify business challenges and articulate Aven's value proposition to prospects. If you're looking for a fast-paced, highly creative, and dynamic environment to maximize your talents and expand your expertise, then we might be the place for you. What Your Background Might Look Like Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, Symbolic Systems, Mathematics, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or similar Experience in gaming, finance, e-commerce, or politics is a major plus A track record developing go to market strategies via paid ads (Web, Video, SEM, Affiliate, Referrals and growing social accounts: TikTok, Instagram, FB, ect Demonstrated organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle pressure and a high volume of tasks in a result-oriented environment A unique balance of analytical skills and creativity and comfort with interpreting data, deriving actionable insights and using those insights to inform strategic direction Experience with startups is a plus; Day to Day Responsibilities Deeply involved in defining and launching new products and features to maximize growth Decide on Go To Market plan for new products and execute across channels Manage $10 million/yr marketing spend, including planning, forecasting, and return-on-investment assessments and reporting. Scale marketing spend to $100 million per year Scale and optimize our SEM and affiliate-marketing strategies to drive increased cardholder growth Create and implement the marketing plan in line with overall business objectives while striking a balance between longer-term strategic brand-building activities, mid-term lead generation, and nurturing, as well as quick wins to achieve targets Use data and analytics for decision making and measuring marketing effectiveness as well as creating a culture of structured experimentation and iteration to drive growth Ensuring consistent messaging that is aligned with the brand, write creative briefs for the team to execute on Building win-win relationships with new and existing partners Benefits: Stock options Generous health, dental, and vision insurance 3 weeks PTO + holidays A company with a huge vision, a dynamic work environment, a team of talented, ambitious, andfun-to-work-with colleagues, and weekly team dinners!
