Join to apply for the Content Designer role at Lead Overview We’re looking for a strategic, systems-minded Content Designer to help shape how Lead communicates in-product and across our platform. You’ll partner with designers, PMs, and engineers to craft the language that guides people through our tools—simplifying financial workflows, clarifying intent, and building trust. This role is equal parts UX writing and content strategy. You’ll define how we speak inside our products, but you’ll also help connect that voice to our brand across channels. You’ll contribute to naming systems, voice and tone guidance, and the documentation that helps us scale content with quality. This is a fit for someone who approaches writing as design—who brings structure to ambiguity, simplifies the complex, and cares about precision at every level of the experience. Responsibilities Collaborate closely with designers, PMs, engineers, and marketers to create clear, intuitive user experiences across internal tools and client‑facing surfaces Write inclusive, precise content for product flows, microcopy, in‑app messaging, and system feedback that helps users take confident action Shape the product voice by contributing to naming conventions, taxonomy, and UX copy standards Partner with design and brand to keep our tone consistent across product and marketing content Use research, user feedback, and data to inform content decisions and iterate quickly Contribute to design system documentation and help scale content guidance across teams Champion content quality while supporting velocity in a fast‑paced, regulated environment Qualifications 5–8+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, or product content strategy A portfolio that shows sharp thinking, systems awareness, and thoughtful language in complex product spaces Strong grasp of UX principles and how words shape behavior, especially in transactional or data‑heavy interfaces Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to make progress in evolving or incomplete problem spaces Experience building or contributing to scalable content systems and cross‑functional workflows Excellent communication skills—especially when explaining rationale, options, and tradeoffs Bonus: Experience in fintech, regulated environments, or enterprise tooling What We Offer At Lead, we design our benefits to support company culture and principles, to foster an efficient and inspiring work environment, and to create the conditions for our team to give their best in both work and life.
