About the Role As a Content Writer (L2), you’ll take ownership of high-quality content across blogs, case studies, website pages, guides, and more. You will collaborate with SEO, product, design, and marketing teams to deliver content that is: AccurateEngagingSEO-friendlyBrand-aligned You will play a key role in building Helo.ai’s content engine. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Content Ownership 1. • Take full ownership of content pieces — from research to publishing. • Write blogs, case studies, website pages, and long-form guides. • Understand briefs, propose structure, and deliver polished drafts. • Ensure formatting, grammar, internal linking, and metadata accuracy. 2. SEO Writing & Optimization • Use SEO principles for ranking and discoverability. • Add keywords naturally in headings, body, and metadata. • Optimize structure, slugs, and content flow for on-page SEO. • Ensure zero SEO issues with inputs from SEO/web teams. 3. Content Calendar Management • Contribute ideas during weekly planning sessions. • Keep your assigned tasks updated (In Progress, Review, Done). • Meet deadlines and flag delays early. 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work with product teams for content accuracy. • Coordinate with designers for visuals and layouts. • Share content with social, email, and web teams for distribution. • Support campaigns with ad copies, CTAs, and short-form content. 5. Brand Voice Consistency • Maintain Helo.ai’s tone — simple, conversational, user-first. • Follow voice guides, vocabulary rules, and formatting standards. • Ensure brand alignment across all content types. 6. Content Refresh & Audits • Identify outdated content, broken links, and old stats. • Refresh, rewrite, or improve older pieces to current standards. • Maintain a tracker of updated content. 7. Peer Review & Quality Checks • Review peers' content and provide constructive feedback. • Spot grammar errors, SEO gaps, tone mismatches, and factual issues. • Ensure content is error-free before publishing. 8. Learning & Growth • Attend internal training and external learning programs. • Explore new content styles (explainers, interviews, listicles, etc.). • Reduce repeat feedback errors and track writing improvements.
