Position Details:
- Role: Freelance Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Contract Duration: 4-5 months
- Location: Remote (Must be based in the US)
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive and engaging content for various platforms, including articles, blog posts, lesson plans, presentations, and educational materials, focusing on health science topics.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing insights and guidance on content development and accuracy related to anatomy, physiology, nutrition, disease prevention, public health, and other health science disciplines.
- Stay informed about the latest news, research findings, and advancements in health science, and integrate this knowledge into content development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including educators, researchers, designers, and technology experts, to ensure content alignment with learning objectives and industry standards.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for new content initiatives and educational programs.
- Actively contribute to team meetings, sharing insights, best practices, and updates on industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in hospitality management or a related field.
- Proven experience in content creation or curriculum development for hospitality courses.
- Strong knowledge of the U.S. hospitality industry, including hotels, restaurants, and event management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with e-learning platforms and instructional design is a plus.
- Passion for education and a commitment to preparing students for successful careers in the U.S. hospitality industry.
