About Us:
We are a dynamic educational organization dedicated to providing middle school students across the US with engaging and informative CTE courses. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of education and inspire the next generation of professionals.

Position Details:

  • Role: Freelance Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Contract Duration: 4-5 months
  • Location: Remote (Must be based in the US)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive and engaging content for various platforms, including articles, blog posts, lesson plans, presentations, and educational materials, focusing on health science topics.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing insights and guidance on content development and accuracy related to anatomy, physiology, nutrition, disease prevention, public health, and other health science disciplines.
  • Stay informed about the latest news, research findings, and advancements in health science, and integrate this knowledge into content development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including educators, researchers, designers, and technology experts, to ensure content alignment with learning objectives and industry standards.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to style guidelines.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for new content initiatives and educational programs.
  • Actively contribute to team meetings, sharing insights, best practices, and updates on industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in hospitality management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in content creation or curriculum development for hospitality courses.
  • Strong knowledge of the U.S. hospitality industry, including hotels, restaurants, and event management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and instructional design is a plus.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to preparing students for successful careers in the U.S. hospitality industry.
