Great Opportunity!What You Will Do:As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will collaborate with plant leadership to implement Continuous Improvement processes across multiple departments. Your primary focus will be on identifying and facilitating improvement opportunities, acting as a change agent to enhance performance within assigned processes and projects. You will play a crucial role in gaining buy-in from leaders and employees while serving as a coach on Continuous Improvement methodologies, particularly Kaizen. Your responsibilities will include:Planning and facilitating training sessions for employees on Continuous Improvement practices, emphasizing Kaizen and related tools such as Six Sigma and Root Cause Analysis.Supporting the Continuous Improvement Manager and site leaders with analyses, audits, and recommendations related to Continuous Improvement initiatives.Assisting with ISO/IATF certification efforts, risk management, and special projects.Organizing and facilitating follow-up sessions to ensure successful implementation of process improvements.Managing and maintaining KPI records, databases, internal communication boards, work instructions, and Value Stream Mapping documentation.What you will need:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.Six Sigma certification: Black Belt preferred, Green Belt minimum.Quality Engineer Certification and Quality Auditor Certification from the American Society for Quality preferred.Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing sectors, with at least 2 years in Continuous Improvement roles.Experience in heavy manufacturing is preferred.Proven experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.Ability to facilitate and lead process improvement sessions with various stakeholders.Strong analytical, project, and product management skills, with the ability to interpret business needs and translate them into measurable outcomes.Demonstrated leadership skills through influence.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating ideas, providing feedback, resolving conflicts, and motivating teams.High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Starts on day one!
