Continuous Improvement Engineer (Quality)ManufacturingA specialist coatings manufacturer is looking to appoint an Continuous Improvement Engineer to tackle a critical business challenge around post-manufacturing processes, product release, and quality escapes.This is a hands-on, practitioner-level CI role, focused on fixing real operational issues, tightening processes, and embedding best practice across the business.The RoleYou’ll be brought in to review, improve, and stabilise processes after the product has been manufactured, with a clear focus on preventing escapes and improving operational performance. Key responsibilities include:Analysing existing post-manufacturing and product release processes and identifying gapsFixing issues around incorrect shipments, documentation errors, and quality escapesImproving steps taken after manufacture, including release processes and documentation flowImplementing robust processes to prevent recurrence of issuesActing as a hands-on CI practitioner, applying lean and problem-solving toolsSupporting the wider Operational Excellence (OpEx) agenda to improve overall business performanceWhat We’re Looking ForStrong Continuous Improvement background, ideally within a quality or problem-solving environmentExperience in a similar CI / OpEx role within manufacturingUnderstanding of engineering and manufacturing processes (manufacturing engineering background beneficial)Experience working in a highly regulated industryBackground within a manufacturing businessLean / CI training or certification (Green or Black Belt ideal, but not essential)If you feel you have the above then please apply with your most recent CV.
