Continuous Improvement ManagerThe Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites. This role focuses on identifying, prioritizing, and executing continuous improvement opportunities using Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologies. The position has no direct reports but requires strong cross-functional leadership and the ability to influence plant leaders, engineers, and frontline teams.Essential Functions:Lead continuous improvement initiatives across multiple manufacturing locations to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivityIdentify and prioritize improvement opportunities through data analysis, value stream mapping, and direct observation (Gemba)Facilitate Kaizen events, problem-solving workshops, and root cause analyses (A3, 5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.)Partner with plant leadership and functional teams (Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance) to implement sustainable process improvementsDevelop standard work, visual management systems, and performance metrics to support operational excellenceSupport deployment and maturity of Lean manufacturing tools (5S, SMED, TPM, Kanban, standard work)Track and report progress, benefits, and ROI of CI initiatives to leadershipCoach and train employees at all levels on CI principles and problem-solving techniquesEnsure improvements are documented, standardized, and sustained across sitesServe as a change agent, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountabilityRequired Skills, Education, and Experience:Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience in manufacturing environments with a strong focus on continuous improvement1+ years of lean manufacturing experienceProficiency in spreadsheet and database managementPreferred Qualifications:Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certificationDemonstrated hands-on experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologiesProven ability to lead improvement initiatives without formal authorityStrong analytical skills with experience using operational metrics and KPIsExcellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder project management skillsWillingness and ability to travel regularly to manufacturing sitesExperience supporting multiple manufacturing plants or geographically dispersed operationsThe salary range for this position is $100,000 - $115,000 per year.We are open to talents of all backgrounds.
