Continuous Improvement ManagerThe Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for effectively leading Six Sigma/Lean continuous improvement projects within the plant; working with plant management to select and charter projects; and using established leadership skills to build, develop, and lead teams to execute a solution through data driven analytics.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Work with all departments of the plant to drive continuous improvement through yield and quality improvements while driving cost and variation reductionResponsible for establishing statistical process control on all KPI'sProvide departments with statistical data and analysis on current processes/products and process capabilityManage existing and new processes including directing continuous improvement activities to improve process and product compliance performanceMaintain communications within and between various functions and areas in the plantEnsuring processes and projects are focused on areas of opportunity for increased revenue, product growth, and cost savingsPerform other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience.Experience working in an industrial environment required.Strong computer skills required.Strong presentation skills required.Ability to work with department heads to meet safety, production, quality, and yield goalsAbility to multi-task & set priorities.Strong written & verbal communication skills.Lead people by example; accept and delegate responsibility while displaying sound judgement and decision-making skillsProblem-solve in an efficient manner with sound follow-up.Physical Demands:Must be able to stand & walk for long periods of time.Standing/sitting/walking 100% of the workday.Ability to work in damp, warm, wet environment, and also room temperatureTravel:Some travel required as needed or assigned by Plant Manager or Corporate ManagerThis job description is not a comprehensive list of duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee.
