Summary
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Medical Education team in planning and executing US
and global medical education programs. This individual will work closely with the Abbott Medical,
Clinical, and Scientific Organization (MCSO) team and the Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC).

Job Duties:
Pre- and post-event planning for Medical Education.
Speaker agreement/contract creation from planning through execution, for U.S. and non-U.S.
speakers.
Work closely with the team of OEC to ensure all processes and procedures are followed.
Work collaboratively with internal and external (vendors) teams to create event elements and
timely submission of program deliverables.
Upload all program files to the appropriate repository pre- and post-event.
Manage KOL speaker payment process, including:
New vendor set up.
Requesting invoices from speakers for past programs.
Tracking of submitted invoices and reporting actuals.
Processing and submitting PO requests for approval.
Submitting invoices with approved POs to Accounts Payable for payment processing.
Ensure all appropriate documentation related to the program (faculty, participants) have been
obtained and retained in compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and
procedures.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience working on creation of speaker contracts.
Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and computer-based skills.
Project management skills ability to work on and manage multiple deadline-driven projects.
Experience working with HCPs/KOLs/Faculty.
Detail oriented, focused on data integrity, accuracy, and defined compliance processes and
procedures.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team
environment.
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams.
