Commercial Contracts Attorney

Duration: 6 months, covering a leave

Hybrid on-site near Norwell, MA. All on-site at first for training then hybrid



Below are some key requirements of the role:

  • Negotiate, draft and review various contracts/agreements (including customer and vendor contracts) and proposals for Company operations in US and Canada, focusing on large-scale, high dollar value agreements.
  • Review bid and contract disputes, draft correspondence to customers related to bid and contract disputes and advise sales and operations personnel on risks associated with projects and how to structure contracts to minimize risk.
  • Provide training, guidance and feedback to coworkers in contract review procedure and best practices.
  • Modify contracts on a regular basis, considering changes to the law, industry and/or business practice.
  • Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts
  • JD degree
  • 5+ years of experience in a corporate setting (not a law firm)
