Job Description Minimum 1+ years special education experience required. Position : Special Education Teacher Location : Fleetwood, PA Employment Type : Full-Time, Contract Duration : August 26th to mid‑October 2024 Schedule : Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:15 PM Grade Level : 7th Grade Caseload : Approximately 20‑22 students, primarily Learning Support (LS) Job Description : We are looking for a qualified Special Education Teacher for a temporary position at a middle school in Fleetwood, PA. The teacher will work with 7th‑grade students, providing specialized instruction and support. This role requires a Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education and involves working onsite only. Responsibilities Instruction : Develop and deliver specialized instruction tailored to meet the needs of students with learning disabilities. IEP Management : Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), track student progress, and adjust strategies as needed. Collaboration : Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Assessment : Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and inform instructional planning. Classroom Management : Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment conducive to learning. Qualifications Certification : Must be PA certified in Special Education.
