Duties: Role: This role is similar to a Project Coordinator(Hardware) roleLocation: Sunnyvale, CA (Day 1 Onsite) Summary:The main function of a project coordinator is to support project manager and electrical engineers to fulfill schedule tracking, hardware allocation, support communication and general needs in new technology development and prototyping process.RESPONSIBILITIES: Support hardware inventory management. Keep track of devices, components, flexes, PCBs, and material from the factory. Allocate hardware to engineers who need it for testing. Assist EPM (Engineering Program Managers) to support new technology development. Tasks include schedule tracking, shipping and handling PCBs and devices, coordinating with manufacturer and vendors on shipment and orders. Order parts and equipment from vendors to support new technology prototyping, testing, and debugging. Work with engineering team and EPM to look for and purchase new parts and equipment. Be a helpful citizen and support logistical needs from engineering team such as helping with computer/lab equipment needs, finding office and lab supplies, and communicating important information to the team. Use internal tools such as web portals, forms, spreadsheets, work chat, work groups to facilitate communication and organizing information. Be adaptive and flexible with new tools and processes. Be patient and willing to navigate through ambiguities when processes are not clearly defined.

Skills: QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years of Electrical Project Specialist experience. Experience in supporting consumer electronic devices is a plus. Proficiency with email and Facebook style group and messenger applications. Proficiency with productivity tools such as spreadsheets, word, powerpoint in either Microsoft Office or Google Suite. Self-motivated and team player Key Skills : EPS, project specialist, hardware allocation, EPM, purchase order, shipment, NPI, NTI, prototype, new technology introduction, new product introduction, Contract manufacturer

Education: Bachelors or Masters
