Our client is seeking a highly motivated Contract Specialist (Procurement Advisor) to support procurement operations within a refinery environment. Must be skilled in services-based procurement and contractor/vendor management. Previous experience supporting procurement within a refinery, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environment required. This role will serve as a key partner to internal stakeholders, driving sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring contract compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment and enjoys working cross-functionally to deliver strategic value. Onsite - Mon - Fri, typical business hoursKey Responsibilities: Partner with refinery stakeholders to support day-to-day procurement activities, including services sourcing and supplier management Lead and support sourcing events, including bid development, evaluation, and supplier selection Manage assigned contracts, including negotiating terms, renewals, and amendments Serve as a liaison between site stakeholders and central procurement/AES teams to ensure alignment and efficiency Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and governance standards Identify opportunities to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and mitigate risk Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Procurement with 3+ years of procurement, sourcing, contracting, or supply chain experience. Experience supporting contract negotiations and supplier management activities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba, GEP, or similar platforms Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Ability to operate independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Strong Influence skills
