• Alternative: A 2-year degree with 4+ years of relevant experience will be considered.

• Disqualifier: Candidates with a Master's degree or higher are explicitly not being considered for this entry-level role.

Technical Skills (Required)

Direct experience with any of the following HMI/SCADA software is required:

• Factory Talk

• RSView

• Vijeo

• Crimson

• Kepware

• EcoStruxure Machine Scada Expert

Technical Skills (Desired)

• VBA Scripting

• JavaScript / HTML / C++

• SQL / Python

• FBD (Function Block Programming)

Soft Skills (Required)

• Problem-Solving: Uses a structured approach to analyze and resolve technical problems.

• Proactive Learning: Seeks opportunities for continual learning and technical growth.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of HMI systems. Your typical tasks will include:

• Design & Development: Designing, writing, converting, and implementing software for generator control switchgear HMI applications.

• Hardware Configuration: Configuring, programming, and testing HMI hardware.

• Collaboration & Validation: Working with Power System Engineers to test and validate HMI programming.

• Support: Troubleshooting and providing remote support for HMI issues in the field and during installation.

• Project Execution: Assisting in following an electrical design schedule to meet overall project deadlines.

Team & Work Environment

• Team Structure: You will report to an HMI Manager and join a team of 4 other engineers (2 Senior, 2 Engineers).

• Daily Interaction: You will work closely with the HMI team and collaborate extensively with the Power System Engineering team for testing and validation.

• Work Setting: The role involves a mix of office work, lab testing, and time on the manufacturing floor.
