Control Engineer Apply
We are seeking a Controls Engineer to design, program, commission, and support custom automation machinery for regulated manufacturing environments, including medical device and life sciences applications. This role involves PLC and HMI programming, system validation support, commissioning, and customer-facing technical collaboration both in-house and onsite.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and program PLC-based control systems for high-precision custom automation equipment.Design and configure HMI interfaces and operator screens.Program and integrate servo systems, cam-driven stations, pneumatic assemblies, and inspection/test devices.Support validation activities including DQ, IQ, OQ, and related documentation requirements.Assist in compliance efforts aligned with GMP, GAMP, and ISO standards.Perform system commissioning, debugging, and software modifications in-house and at customer facilities.Review and update electrical schematics and control documentation.Generate functional specifications, I/O lists, and software documentation packages.Participate in internal and customer design reviews.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related technical field; or equivalent practical experience.3–7 years of experience in custom automation or machine building environments.Proficiency with Siemens and/or Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) PLC platforms and HMI development.Experience programming servo motion systems and integrating multi-axis equipment.Familiarity with validation protocols (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ) within regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
