Job DescriptionInsight Global is looking for a Sr Controls Engineer for a large Automotive OEM in Lake Orion The controls engineer will be responsible for the commissioning and troubleshooting of their ASRS module You will be helping with the run off, doing the controls check list to make sure the equipment is ready for shipment and installed correctly once onsite in Lake Orion. You will be helping bring the equipment up but also interfacing with the plant team and maintenance teams. Additional Responsibilities could include:• New program implementation/execution (SOR prep, forecasting, controls/robotics design, equipment build/run-off and buyoff)• Design, construction, integration, plant installation, successful launch and continuous improvement of equipment and tools required in plants for the production of high quality parts• Manage deliveries to program timing milestones• Provide project report outs to senior management• Existing program/site support (troubleshooting, etc.)• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with all customers/plants• Provide technical direction to less experienced controls engineers.• Design and troubleshooting of electrical controls systems• Work may involve development and testing of advanced process technologyRequired Skills & Experience• 3+ years of controls engineering experience• Experience commissioning and troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCsFamiliar with GM Standards (GCCH OR GCCS)Compensation:$35/hr to $48/hrExact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
