What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide electrical CAD design support for control cabinet projects.

• Convert concepts and sketches into production-ready submittal drawings.

• Lead standardization efforts to streamline design processes and improve best practices.

• Design control panels and backplanes according to BOMs and UL 508A standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and goals.

• Ensure all drawings and documentation are accurate and compliant.

• Maintain and expand the electrical component library and reusable design assets.

• Select components (breakers, relays, wire types, etc.) based on load calculations and industry specs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).

• 3+ years of experience designing and documenting industrial control panels.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical (EPLAN, Zuken, etc. a plus).

• Solid knowledge of UL 508A and industry compliance requirements.

• Strong ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot schematics and wiring diagrams.

• A portfolio or samples of past control panel designs is highly preferred.
