Our systems are engineered to exacting standards and used in industries where accuracy, reliability, and performance are critical. Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our controls team with an experienced Control Systems Engineer.About the RoleAs a Control Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of custom automation solutions, working on highly specialised machinery built to tight tolerances and unique client specifications. This is a hands-on role covering the full lifecycle—from design and programming through to commissioning.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement PLC control systems for bespoke machineryDevelop and configure SCADA and HMI systems for operator control and monitoringWork closely with mechanical and electrical teams on custom-built, high-precision equipmentProduce and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC panel layoutsCarry out system testing, debugging, and on-site commissioningSupport continuous improvement of control systems for performance and reliabilityProvide documentation and technical support for delivered systemsRequired Skills & ExperienceProven experience in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar platforms)Strong background in SCADA and HMI developmentExperience working with industrial machinery, ideally within high-precision or bespoke equipment environmentsSolid grounding in electrical engineering fundamentals, including:Electrical calculationsReading and producing electrical drawingsControl panel and PLC layout designStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailDesirable ExperienceFamiliarity with motion control systems, servo drives, and roboticsKnowledge of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, etc.)Experience with machine safety standards and complianceApply direct for a confidential conversation.
