The Turbine & Generator Controls (TGC) Division of Mechanical Dynamics & Analysis (MD&A) is looking for an experienced Control Systems Operations Manager in its Fort Collins, CO location. This position will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the execution side of the Turbine & Generator Controls Division. We are seeking candidates who have a desire to join a growing organization and an appetite for diverse and technically challenging work. Responsibilities Implements and develops operational strategies aligned with the division’s business and people strategies and objectives Drives operational efficiency and optimization to achieve lower operational costs while maintaining strong customer satisfaction Responsible for the overall field service schedules, ensuring a high level of quality, accuracy, and adherence to customer deliverables Manage large scale projects for the division to meet customer and business needs Lead a team of field service and engineering resources, ensuring employees are adhering to safety regulations and standard operating procedures, and development of employees to support continued growth and talent planning Oversight of the Fort Collins facility to provide a safe and collaborative work environment Collaborate with division leaders and finance to manage the operational financials while ensuring growth and profitability of the Turbine & Generator Controls business Requirements Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field 8+ years of experience in the power industry Basic knowledge of pre-digital control systems (pre-1990) required Experience working with OEM new and retrofit turbine control systems Turbine auxiliary systems knowledge including hydraulics, valve actuators, trip systems, and other mechanical components related to turbine operation Generator startup and operation experience Basic knowledge of plant operations and project management fundamentals 15% travel required, mainly domestic with the possibility of international travel Benefits Our employees are provided with compensation and benefits that allow them to bring the best to our business, as well as their personal lives.
