Control Systems Specialist (PLC/HMI)Midland, TXContech Control Services is seeking team-oriented professionals who have proven knowledge of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) configuration, graphics, and logic programming of industrial control systems.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:The Control System Specialist performs a wide range of duties, including the following:Responsible for design, specification, selection, configuration, and testing services related to control systems, including PLC, HMI, serial interface, and networkingPlan, budget, organize, and control an important segment of automation projectsMay be responsible to assist with control philosophy and/or functional descriptionsCommunicate progress to project manager for inclusion into reports to clientResponsible for quality of the control system portion of the project.Requirements:The Control System Specialist requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:BS or AES degree in Engineering is preferred10+ years of hands-on configuration experience related to Allen-Bradley PLCs, Allen-Bradley PanelView, and Wonderware are requiredConfiguration experience with other PLC, HMI, DCS, or SIS systems is a plus.Demonstrated experience in technical execution on both FEL/FEED and EPC projects in the chemical and petrochemical industry.PE license is a plus.Knowledge of Microsoft software products is required.Working conditions are as follows: Position Type: Full Time, Permanent, Full BenefitsStandard Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:00 am to 5:30pmOvertime: OccasionallyTravel: Up to 20%Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S without any sponsorship.
