Control Systems Specialist Apply
Support and maintain industrial control systems, including DCS/SIS platforms, virtualization, networking, and Windows server environments. Participate in system design, installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and customer support across multiple industries. We are considering both experienced and early career levels. The administrator level is expected to lead activities and play a more active role in project/service management, design, and documentation. The technician level is expected to execute assigned project and maintenance tasks such as software installations and system patching. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain Windows Server (AD, DNS, RDS, IIS), Hyper‑V, and DeltaV Virtual Studio environments Configure and troubleshoot DeltaV DCS/SIS hardware and software systems. Design, install, and document control system, network, and server infrastructure. Perform system upgrades, patching, and preventative maintenance. Lead or support FAT/SAT testing, field cabinet testing, and commissioning. Provide on-site and remote customer support and troubleshooting. Respond to service requests, create service tickets, document troubleshooting/resolutions. Participate in emergency on-call rotation Collaborate with project teams on system integration and infrastructure setup Qualifications AS/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT-related field 0–5 yr (technician) 5‑10+ yr (administrator) experience in IT/OT or control/automation systems. Proficiency with networking, Virtualization, Windows administration, and control systems (DeltaV Strongly Preferred) Familiarity with Cisco/Emerson switches, Dell hardware, and industrial protocols (OPC, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, etc.) Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills Ability to travel extensively (locally) and lift up to 60 lbs Preferred Skills Experience with firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet), wireless protocols, or historian integration Control system programming, system integration, and industrial communication Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, MES, and data historians (e.g., OSI PI, IP.21, DataParc) #J-18808-Ljbffr
