Job Summary MSHS Pacific Power Group seeks a mechanically skilled Control Systems Technician to repair, overhaul, and calibrate precision-engineered control components. Responsibilities include shop-based work and field service travel to diagnose and repair engine control systems. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and overhaul governors, actuators, and related components (e.g., Woodward, Regulators Europa, Diesel Kiki, Heinzmann) Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble components to OEM standards Provide technical support to customers and internal teams via phone, email, and on-site visits Perform on-site field service work, including emergency support and customer training Assist with assembly and testing of electrical cabinets for engineered systems Track job time, parts usage, and submit timely service reports Maintain a clean, organized workspace and comply with safety protocols Act professionally and represent the company as a brand ambassador at customer sites Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Proven experience in repair and calibration of mechanical control equipment Strong mechanical and hydraulic systems knowledge; understanding of engine auxiliaries Basic electrical skills, including reading schematics and using diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters) Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); basic photo editing a plus Strong communication skills; ability to explain issues and train customers effectively Reliable, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player Willingness to work overtime and travel on short notice.
