ABOUT THE COMPANY:

This is an outstanding opportunity for a qualified hands-on Controller or seasoned Accounting Manager in the Marin County region. The Controller will be responsible for the general oversight of the accounting team, as well as hands-on financial reporting and other accounting responsibilities. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:​​

• Oversee and manage the accounting department 
• Develop the annual budget and provide financial reporting guidance and support 
• Reconciliation of historical financial records as needed
• Prepare monthly and year-end annual financial statements 
• Manage the weekly payroll systems to ensure accuracy 
• Recommend improvements for systems and process efficiency across the company 
• Other duties as needed

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required 
• CPA preferred
• 4+ years of experience in overseeing an accounting department required
• 5+ years in accounting, finance or related field 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong organizational skills 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Ability to use Excel (mid to high-level)
