Trilagen is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to join our finance team. As the Controller, you will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance to ensure that the organization operates efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, maintaining the integrity of financial records, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. Your expertise will play a critical role in providing leadership and direction in financial management, including cash flow management and financial forecasting. You will collaborate with executive leadership to provide insights and recommendations that support informed decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, exceptional analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and internal controls.
  • Monitor cash flow and financial performance, providing timely reports to executive leadership.
  • Lead the external audit process and coordinate with external auditors to address any findings.
  • Manage the finance team, providing mentorship and support to ensure accurate financial operations.
  • Conduct financial analysis, identifying trends and variances to facilitate strategic decision-making.
  • Support the implementation of financial software systems to streamline accounting processes and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems; familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing team members.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting financial information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience in the technology or consulting industry is advantageous.
