Controller Apply
The Controller will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization, including financial reporting, budgeting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. The ideal candidate should have a broad knowledge and understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles, as well as a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Oversee preparation and review of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
- Assist with audits, financial reporting, and external inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Experience in the retail industry preferred.
- Experience with accounting, audit, and account payable processes.
