Wants/must-haves: (These are their must-haves)

• Active CPA
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with experience in Construction Accounting
• 5+ years in a Controller or similar leadership role
• Experience in a larger, more complex business environment, ideally multi-division / multi-entity
• Experience with high-volume accounting operations, allocations / chargebacks, and multiple business units
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
• Knowledge of LIFO inventory accounting and MACRS tax depreciation
• Experience leading managers and larger accounting teams
• Comfortable working fully onsite in City of Industry
• Able to operate in a private, family-owned environment with a humble, low-ego leadership style
• Experience in a larger Accounting ERP system like Oracle, SAP. Netsuite. They use DBS, which is Quinn’s core system and is Caterpillar-specific. Similar to CODA

Nice to Haves:

• Big 4 public accounting background
• Experience in construction-style, dealership, equipment, or inventory-heavy accounting environments
• Experience with CODA or similar enterprise accounting systems
• Experience supporting a business with multiple divisions, cost allocations, and heavy processing volume
• Background from a larger company, Linda noted Quinn is a large private company with over $1B in revenue and multiple business units
