Due to significant past growth and continued expansion, our client is seeking an experienced Controller to build, lead, and enhance the company’s accounting and financial reporting function. This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to establish best practices, improve reporting rigor, and partner closely with senior leadership, operations, and sales.ResponsibilitiesOversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory and lease accountingEstablish and strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures appropriate for a PE- backed organizationOwn and continuously improve the monthly close process, reducing close timelines while ensuring accuracy and compliancePrepare and enhance weekly and monthly management reporting, including variance analysis and key performance indicatorsEnsure accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAPSupport budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis in partnership with the CFOOwnership of working capital management, cash flow forecasting, and covenant reportingSupport consolidation of financials with parent as well as lender reporting requirementsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting7+ years of progressive accounting experience, includingprior Controller or Accounting Manager rolesProven experience owning the monthly close and financial reporting processesStrong understanding of GAAP and internal controlsExperience managing and developing accounting staff
