Job Details Title: Controller Hosted by: Haley Lucas Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year About Us We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our dynamic dealership team. This position plays a critical role in our organization, responsible for overseeing all aspects of our financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and the development of internal control policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry, a keen understanding of cost accounting, and a proven track record of effective leadership. Direct and coordinate all financial planning and budget management functions. Manage the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies. Oversee accounting operations related to manufacturing activities, including detailed review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis of results. Develop and implement robust internal controls and financial procedures. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements. Coordinate audits and proper filing of tax returns. Work with senior teams to grow the business by formulating strategies and plans. Lead and motivate the finance team to ensure a high level of performance and employee engagement. Manage the calculation and issuance of bonus payments. Utilize autosoft software for various accounting and financial operations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration. CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification is highly desirable. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior‑level finance or accounting position, preferably in the automotive industry. In‑depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices. Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP, autosoft). An analytical mind with strategic ability. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
